A new online resource aims to support young people and youth workers in group building processes and social engagement. The “Guide to Activism” is designed to help young people and youth workers organise groups and take action on social issues that matter to them.
Generation Europe – The Academy is a large network of European youth cooperation with many different fields of work and forms of action. We have published a new brochure to explain briefly what this unique alliance of European youth organisations is all about.

Networking and communication were the main topics of the youth encounter in Nordhausen, Germany. Not only did Thuringian Youth Minister Helmut Holter and MDR television visit the young people from Poland, Spain and Germany. The active participants also became media producers themselves: In cooperation with Radio ENNO, they reported on their experiences for nine days. You can listen to all the reports here.
What an exciting twelve days! Under the title “Raise your Voice!”, active members of the local groups from Unna (Germany) met with their project partners from Italy and Finland. About local projects, dealing with global crises – and the visit of a TV crew.
This was the motto under which the local groups from Bochum (Germany), Rome (Italy) and Évora (Portugal) met in Portugal for their youth encounter this year as part of Generation Europe – The Academy. Together, the young people want to find ways to tackle the problems in the world and make a difference – at home in their local communities, but also beyond.
From 7 to 18 August 2023, active young people from Thuringia, Santa Cruz de Tenerife (Spain) and Krzyżowa (Poland) are meeting in Nordhausen (Germany). Together they are working to bring international youth cooperation to life.
