An exciting and extraordinary year full of action is nearing its end. Together, the network partners of Generation Europe – The Academy have organised 14 international Youth Encounters and Local Activities in more than 40 European municipalities. We have met at the Network Conference, continued learning at the Youth Leader Training, and further developed the peer-to-peer network at the Ambassador Conference. The amazing Guide to Activism and the breathtaking documentary film Generation Ukraine have been finalised. At the Symposium “Youth Work in Europe – Mission (im)possible?”, we networked with stakeholders and joined forces to tackle the problems our organisations and democracy as a whole are facing. Also others have reported on all of this.
The end of this year is a good time to send out a huge thank you to all of you – you are real superheroes! Thank you to more than 600 young people from 14 European countries who, in addition to school, work and other commitments, invest their free time to network across Europe and make a difference in their communities. Thank you to all the professionals from the participating youth organisations who are working far beyond their normal working hours. And, of course, thank you to our funders who make all this possible with their financial support.
