Greetings from Florence, Italy, where the youth encounter took place until 3 December. Under the title „SustainAbility – Creative skills for a sustainable development“ 32 participants, youth leaders and ambassadors from Florence, Larissa and Cologne/Bergisch-Gladbach met.
Together they worked on the 17 Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations, a global plan to promote sustainable peace and prosperity and to protect our planet. They accompanied their discussions and reflections with games and artistic practices, in order to strengthen a (self-)critical view on society. Feeling the responsibility as an artist and as a citizen was also the starting point to build a working team, in the awareness of being part of a community and of a three-year-long programme. We are very happy to pass on the greetings and energy that reached us from Florence to all of you!
