On 5 October, the local group of “Un Strop de Fericire” from Ploiești, Romania, organised their European Action Day, an event meant to spread awareness about important topics in our local community. The aim was to empower young people to find their voice and use it in order to make Europe a better place for all.

The methods used were learning by playing and teamwork, both of them helping to encourage the participants to become active citizens. The schedule consisted of:
- A ceative writing contest (“How can I become active in my community?”)
- A drawing contest
- A workshop on how to start a campaign
- A Steam workshop (credits to the BraveBots robotics team, who were happy to share their knowledge with the participants)
- A treasure hunt about finding educational resources
- An Escape Room about Greenwashing
- A workshop on how to promote change in the town of Ploiești
- A survey about “The education of the future”
- A flashmob, because dancing is always fun
