Last week, the members of our competence groups “Lobby and Advocacy” and “Methods” met in Budapest. As both groups usually work separately, it was important to meet in person to lay the foundation for future cooperation.
During the five days in Hungary, the activists informed each other about their work so far. In terms of content, they dealt intensively with the topics of civic education, inclusion and diversity. In the competence group “Lobby and Advocacy”, youth work professionals work on improving the conditions for youth work in Europe. In the competence group “Methods”, the they further develop the know-how for youth work with international and diverse target groups. The work in both focus areas will benefit from the exchange between the two.
